About Me

Hi, I'm Paula Ortiz, a mixed media and oil painter inspired by nature, abundance,

color, and transformation.

Although creativity has always been a part of my life, I chose to pursue my

artistic path more intentionally later in adulthood. In 2019, I completed the

Mastery Program at Milan Art Institute, where | deepened my technical skills

and began developing a more authentic artistic voice.

My work is built through layers of collage, texture, acrylics, and oils, allowing

intuition and discovery to guide the process. I am especially drawn to florals

and organic forms, blending abstract and realistic elements to create pieces

that celebrate beauty, growth, and abundance.

In addition to my fine art practice, I have explored surface pattern and

wallpaper design, which has further shaped my understanding of color,

composition, and how artwork transforms a space.

Today, I am a committed emerging artist building my professional art career in

my forties and While my journey into the professional art world began later than

some, I bring years of life experience, curiosity, and dedication to creating work

that brings warmth, joy, and connection into people's hearts.
